  • Alex, I love your Christmas Lodge card.  I can't seem to locate your blog, as I would love the details on making the card.  Would you mind clueing me in as to how I get there?  Thanks, Lorraine

  • Hi Alex!  Yes, I'm still around.....thank you for checking on me!  I guess between blogging and FB I forget to comment here.....you know how that is right? :o)

  • Yes he liked the scrapbook.  But of course he gave a less than enthusiastic husband response to it.  He said "I found the surprise you left for me."  I said "YAY!  Do you love it?!?!"  He said "Ya, but its not like I'm going to forget what you look like!"  Ya, not really the reason I made it for him, but hey at least I know that my husband can remember what I look like even without seeing me for 2 weeks!  PHEW!  I was worried!!!  hahaha  Husbands, gotta love them!
  • Hey Alex, I posted my pictures of my Mini Tin Scrapbook.  Head over to my page and check them out!  Thanks again for the inspiration!!!
  • You are most welcome Alex!
  • The card for your sister is really beautiful. I know my sister would LOVE it!

  • Thanks Alex. That is the hardest I have worked on a calendar. I make one for my mom every year. We actually sell this calendar and it's only $10. I made it more involved than I usually do b/c I am marketing it as a take home kit. That will be a lot of work for me, but I have a little baby and can't do as many classes as I'd like. So, I'm going this route for the calendar class this year. Happy stampin!
  • You betcha! We I had a ball too! (Yep! They did too!)
  • Hi Alex! So for my bows I actually just used the instructions on Splitcoast stampers and then to make the bow bigger I just made the strips bigger and added more to each layer. Like instead of the 4 strips of paper per layer in the instructions I used 6 to 8 on my biggest layers. :) Does that make sense? I cant remember my exact strip sizes anymore, I just played with them though and made lots of bows. :)
  • Alex, thank you SO very much for all your nice, nice comments on my recent uploads. I truly appreciate that you took time to do that! I see you are in California; where about? When my husband was in Grad School, we lived in Berkeley and I worked in San Fran...way back in the late 70's early 80's. I'd love to come back for a visit! Have a wonderful & safe holiday weekend!
