  • Thanks Vicky! Glad you enjoy my designs. :-) I haven't been very consistent at it some days, due to time, but I try to post card designs on my blog more regularly than here. :-) Check it out at www.stamp2create.blogspot.com .

    Thank you!

  • Hi Vicky, I have to dig around a bit and find my template, will let you know when I find where I "hid" it!  LOL  :)  Becky

  • Hi Vicki! I wanted to share Patty Bennett's tutorial with you. It will explain how to make the roses much better than my written word. Patty is so talented and this video is how I learned to make the flowers. Be sure to check out the rest of her tutorials. They are fantastic, and will blow your mind!

    Here's the link: Hihttp://pattystamps.com/pattys_stamping_spot/2009/04/watercolor-roses-technique-and-video-tutorial.html

    Hope that helps! Judy
  • Hi Vicky! Thanks for your kind words. In answer to your question, the rose is cut out. It is a stamped image, from Fifth Avenue Floral, stamped on shimmery white, then clear embossed. Spritz with water until it puddles, then use re-inkers and aqua painter to add a tiny bit of color to the puddles. Don't mess in it, the water spreads the ink.You can shade or add additional colors, but don't mess in it. Let dry overnight, and cut out. Hope that makes sense! If not, email me at judyelting@stampinatmidnight.com.
    Thanks again!
