  • Hi Nancy, I sent the SAB Glittery Blinkie Link you requested to your Stampin' Connection email.  Happy New Year!

  • Hi Nancy, Thanks for your note.  I will be quick now but will update pics. and try to address everything. Thanks for your wonderful comment/compliments too; very much!  We did well thank you although last year (this was our first fair ever... last year) we were hopping.  Less in crowds and energy but....  Hurricane Sandy is still a factor in who's out and spending too.  Last year I started working for five solid weeks, all day and night, as I had no idea what to expect.  This year (and this fair being "it" for me; love it) I had so little time and was stressed.  We unexpectedly did an Oct. 20th fair at a friend's Temple which had no advertising and no customers.  I sold eight items and made $53 I think, less $20/$40 for the table.  As a result, we signed up for a Nov. 17/18 fair to sell off our Fall items BUT I had to MAKE more Fall items since I'd made a lot of Jewish items for the temple.  Anyway, I created for this Christmas Fair from Nov. 19th but lost a whole week and  had the Thanksgiving holiday in the middle of things.  I was busy and not moving and tired.  This building was forced and sadly, more pressure than fun.  BUT!  I was warmed when shoppers told us they sought us out after having seen us last year!  Others had a list of names for who to buy for (cute)!  We definitely had fun.  Both years Sat. was the busier day (it was raining all day Sunday too), but we still sold hundreds worth!  Table fee was $225/2. OK, let me run.  I will do my best to "inform everyone" as I know how much I appreciate having details when I'm looking around!  OH!  Time dedicated??  Honestly, I am a SAHM to a 15 year old who is at school all day long (yeah, nice) so, I work around the clock BUT.....  There is dog time and walks and errands and slow moving mojo, etc.  (Last year though, I did NOT STOP, I was panicked about the entire event!)  I hope this helps; feel free to write again.  I just get interrupted so often, too.  As a matter of fact, some (pretty) girl just rang my bell saying she grew up in our house, could she come in?  Of course its a mess everywhere, cripes!  But it was such fun to hear about each of the rooms, etc. :)

Stay well, thanks for your interest and comments Nancy!  Have a great week and a Merry Christmas!  Warmly, Donna

  • Thank you Nancy for your helpful tips. I will definitely give it a try. Sounds simple enough. :)
