  • Hi Nikki,

Thank you so much for the warm welcome. I've been so busy looking at all the new products and blogs that I've been exposed to through Stampin Up and have been meaning to get back to you. I am new to Stampin Up in general, I saw a catalog a few years ago that a coworker had but in March I began using the products. I look forward to using the products and making some great things (hopefully I wont spend to much in the mean time lol)

  • Hi Nikki,

Sorry i haven't been on my stampin connect for awhile & never saw your comment. How very sweet of you to be so welcoming. I am looking forward to using this site to it's full capacity one of these days. Life just seems to get in the way to often. (four children will do it to ya)

I have been using stampin up as a product for the last 5 years now & a demonstrator for the last 2. I do it mostly as a hobby, but have done the odd demo when i need to boost the sales. I just love everything about the product & can't sing it's praises enough.

Take care all the way from Australia

  • Thanks Nikki for the warm welcome! I been demo since last year in March of 2011. I had rough year last year, but now it is going smoothly this year. I don't have upline as she had resigned to focus on her family for a while. That is why I had a rough year last year. LOL. Thanks again for welcome. I look forward to learn more from others on this website. Smiling.
  • Hi Nikki,

I have been into Stampin Up for a while so had lots of product already. I got mainly new stamp pads and cardstock, some punches etc. I am really lovely my new Bigshot at the moment. There are so many wonderful projects I can do with it. I wish I had more time to spend on it.

  • Hi, Nikki!  The Faux Silk technique is very easy to do.  You simply stamp onto tissue paper, let it dry, then crinkle it up.  Smooth it out, but leave some of the wrinkles in it, then apply to a piece of Whisper White card stock with adhesive on it.  I ran my 3 x 3" squares of Whisper White through my Xyron machine to apply adhesive to one side, but you can also use glue stick or Mod Podge (just let it dry until it is tacky, but not wet.  If you adhere it while it is wet, the images tend to "bleed").  I found a tutorial on Splitcoast that is excellent.  Thanks so much for looking at my card and leaving such a kind comment.  I love your samples, too!

  • Hi Nikki,

You asked me why I chose Penny's From Heaven, well, my last name is Penny.  When I became a Christian, and got married 26 years ago, I thought if I ever owned a business I would call it Penny's From Heaven. Kinda catchy like the song! :)

  • Thanks for such a lovely welcome to the group.I have been using SU products for the last five years and have been a Demonstrator for about 9 months. I love the products and seeing the amazing things that other Demonstrators do with them.

  • Thank you Nikki for the warm welcome.  I'm still learning how all of this works.  I commented earlier, but it doesn't show up, so I must have done something wrong.  I have a LOT of learning to do, but SU and people like you will get me through it.  I'm amazed at how much support there is.  I look forward to becoming a successful demonstrator.
