  You have to figure out how to basically use just bits of images (like with background paper), to make them much smaller. Stampin' Connection won't load very large files for backgrounds. I had to play around a LOT to figure out how to get the file small enough and to repeat the way I wanted, to get the look I wanted. Another tip--you may or may not want to resize the background papers. It depends on how big you want the pattern. I recommend against resizing textured paper. Instead of resizing the image, try resizing the Canvas in Photoshop Elements. That way the size of the texture is preserved. It's all according to preference, just be aware of the difference in those two options. :-)

  Hi Sheryl :-) I did my Stampin' Connection home page with My Digital Studio--I used the images from MDS, in Photoshop Elements. It's kind of tricky, I don't want to get into it more than that because I don't want to be responsible for people messing up their MDS images. My only tip is that you MUST save a version of the MDS image elsewhere on your drive before you start playing with it, or you will alter the original image and have to reinstall MDS, or the download the image came from, to get it back! :-O
